Source by source
SnitchFeed covers Reddit, X, LinkedIn, Bluesky, and Hacker News live. GitHub, dev.to, YouTube, and Newsletters are listed as "Soon" on the homepage with no pages for them. The llms.txt omits Hacker News from its platform list despite the homepage and /monitor/hackernews calling it live.
discatch covers web, news, Hacker News, Discourse forums, Stack Exchange, and GitHub today. Bluesky, Mastodon, YouTube, and Product Hunt are planned. Reddit, X, and LinkedIn are reserved until a cleared path exists. Discourse forums are a first-class source here and are not on SnitchFeed’s list.
For an agent
SnitchFeed ships an OAuth MCP server on every plan. It also has llms.txt, llms-full.txt, pricing.md, and docs/llms.txt. It does not have an OpenAPI spec, a .well-known/mcp.json file, or a listing on any MCP registry on 2026-09-10. The tool count is stated as 24, 42, and 39 on different pages.
discatch’s REST API and trial keys work today. The MCP server with OAuth is planned for phase 3. Push wakes an agent; SnitchFeed’s MCP is pull-only by spec.
What SnitchFeed does not have
- No OpenAPI spec. An agent cannot discover the REST endpoints programmatically.
- No .well-known/mcp.json. An agent cannot discover the MCP server from the domain.
- No listing on any MCP registry: Glama, Smithery, PulseMCP, mcp.so, and the official registry all returned nothing on 2026-09-10.
- No Discourse, GitHub, or Stack Exchange coverage, current or planned.
- The /blog/f5bot-alternative-snitchfeed page is byte-identical to /compare/f5bot, creating duplicate content.
SnitchFeed publishes comparison content of its own. Its /compare hub links 12 competitor pages with a "Verified September 2026" line. The compare template includes a ten-row pricing table, "Where X wins" and "Where SnitchFeed wins" sections, an ROI calculator, and an eight-question FAQ with FAQPage schema.
SnitchFeed’s llms.txt lists Reddit, LinkedIn, X, and Bluesky as monitored platforms and omits Hacker News, which the homepage and /monitor/hackernews call live. An agent reading the llms.txt would not know Hacker News is available. discatch’s llms.txt will list every source with its status.
